The transformation of this existing, mature building into a modern, functional office space for a growing tech company was no small task. The goal was to retain the building’s weathered look while incorporating cutting-edge design elements and technology, to meet the needs of a dynamic tech workforce. The design blended the building’s original features, such as the full glass curtain wall and high ceilings, with contemporary finishes and open-floor plans that encourage collaboration and innovation.
The office layout includes modern workstations, private meeting rooms, and a large open cafeteria for company culture-building and town-halls. The integration of modern technology was key, with advanced IT infrastructure, high-speed networking, and state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment.
To ensure the comfort and productivity of employees, new HVAC systems, energy-efficient lighting, and smart controls were installed, enhancing the office’s overall sustainability. Natural light is maximized through the strategic placement of windows and glass partitions, creating a bright, inviting atmosphere.
This renovation has greatly increased the character of the building while providing a forward-thinking workspace that supports innovation, collaboration, and growth for the young tech company.
